Birthday Bag of Warewolves

Way back in the Autumn I bought some Alexander Henry "October Moon" fabric from Joann's with the intention of making some bags for my "Twilight" watching friends.  Today was my friend's birthday, so I finally got around to finishing the bags.

Here's the finished project.

Bag One: This is a canvas bag with cotton pockets.

Bag Two: This is a vinyl bag with cotton pockets and lining.

Interior.  Fully lined with "October Moon."  This bag is entirely reversible.  The recipient immediately turned it inside out, which made me very happy.

Straps, made out of the same brown Vinyl that made up the body of the bag, just the other, soft side of the fabric.

Stitches!


I saved these New Moon cups from the movie theater because I knew I would have some kid of gift to put in them eventually.  This seemed just right.

Here's a dress C and I made for her.  Cotton and Linen.

Here's the back view.  It was a little wide in the back, so we pinned it up.

The Tardis Dress

Here's a dress I made for C for her bday last year.  I ordered the material online from spoonflower (http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/758688).

Here it is modeled by her dress form.

Carefully lined up darts.



I made the dress a little bigger by adding bias tape around the zipper.  There's also a little bias tape on the other side of the bodice, but I didn't take a picture of that.   That's also a pocket there.  I love a pattern with pockets!



The hat: it came out a little pointed.

Beatles Bag

Here's one I made for my sister a while ago.  I think my skills are improved since then.

Vinyl on vinyl again.  The records are juke box ones I got at Amoeba in Hollywood.

This is pre-light box, pre-canon T2i photography here as well.

Diaper Covers

More baby madness.  Diaper covers C and I made from Simplicity pattern 2165.  Lots of sewing in of elastic.  Bleh.
